2011 HONDA SEDMHA International Minor Hockey Tournament Invitation
34nd ANNUAL TOURNAMENT
The 2011 Tournament will run from Thursday, March 31, through Sunday April 3
Registration Fees have been set at $850.00 CDN for Peewee AAA, Bantam AAA and Midget AAA teams and $800.00 for all other teams
Registration cut-off is February 15, 2011 or 250 confirmed teams
LEVELS & CATEGORIES
We offer competition at Atom (9 & 10), Peewee (11 &12), Bantam (13 & 14) and Midget (15 - 17 inclusive) levels. All ages are as of December 31, 2009.
Categories include "AAA", "AA", "A", "B" - AAA teams are the top teams in each level, AA are second best teams, A are third best in a level and B Teams represent the lowest skill level competitive teams
These classifications are based on the Nova Scotia rating system which may vary from your Province or State
TEAM ROSTERS & TRAVEL PERMITS
ONLY Registered Competitive teams will be accepted at the SEDMHA Tournament
A Provincial or State "Team" registration form must accompany your application
TRAVEL PERMITS: Must be received by February 28, 2010
DIVISIONS & TEAM CLASSIFICATION
Each category (AAA/AA/A/B) is broken into three divisions during play on Thursday and Friday:
– Odyssey consists of the stronger teams
– Accord the middle teams
– Civic has the weaker teams
GAMES
All teams are guaranteed three games. In fact, if you win your third game you will play a fourth game even with two losses
All games in the Peewee AAA, Bantam AAA and Midget AAA divisions will be 15 minute stop time periods
